In the exhibition Spalt/Vrzel/Gap - the inner border II the Pavelhaus deals with the phenomenon of social division. Artistic positions and committed initiatives deal with bridges and gaps within societies and regions. The commemoration of the blowing up of the Mostar bridge 30 years ago and the instrumentalization of such "manufactured" images is a starting point for the content.

Pavelhaus

The Pavelhaus, in Slovenian Pavlova hiša, is a museum, meeting place and cultural center for the Slovenian ethnic group and is run by the Article VII Cultural Association Styria. Annually, several exhibitions of contemporary art from Slovenia, Austria and the whole world are shown. In addition, there are bilingual book presentations, concerts and discussions in the Pavelhaus. Since 2001 it has been a partner of the international festival Steirischer Herbst.
